Veksler: Volatility - what volatility?

Following a period of low volatility, some investors are finally excited that some sort of action is back in the markets. London-based trader Ken Veksler explains that if you look at US and European equities and also some currencies over the last week, their movements will "be considered volatile".

However, Ken warns that, in a global context, calling what we're seeing "genuine volatility" is probably "overstretching things". Instead, he says investors should be aware market movements are more related to last minute nerves caused by current geopolitical risks.
