Vodafone, the world’s second-largest mobile phone operator, has revealed plans to target TV and broadband customers. Tech expert Stuart Miles gives his reaction to Vodafone’s plan to compete with Sky, BT, Cable & Wireless. Mobile network operator EE has already moved into this market, though Vodafone’s share price has fallen 24% during the past year.
Stuart also gives his opinion on Blackberry’s latest mobile strategy under CEO John Chen, and how Sainsbury’s supermarket chain is creating a new mobile app that will scan product barcodes to speed up shopping trips for customers. Sainsbury's app builds upon a recent mobile GPS-style app created by Philips that guides you around department stores.
