Nestle to hit sweet spot but will Swiss franc leave sour taste?

Nestle is due to release full-year results this week and analysts are expecting the firm to please investors with a forecast of a 2.5% rise in earnings. 2014 should underline the firm's ability to extract high margins from its pet care, nutrition and single serve coffee brands.

The decision taken by the Swiss National Bank to remove the Euro Franc ceiling in January poses a potential problem and senior executives have already admitted that the currency valuation may have an impact on results this year.

Saxo Bank's Head of Equity Strategy Peter Garnry analyses the firm's 2014 performance and explains why he thinks the shares should be a buy for traders, despite a 10% premium above market peers.
