British banks banking on Britain is 'no bad thing'

As Royal Bank of Scotland prepares to lay off thousands of staff from its investment side, it appears British banks are focusing more and more on the UK market. Financial analyst Louise Cooper says the global ambitions of RBS and Barclays have been scaled back because investment banking has so radically changed and there isn't the same profit in it anymore. As the British economy grows, she says being forced to concentrate on the UK is 'no bad thing'.
