Nicole Elliott: The 'fantastic' GBP trading opportunities
There are some 'fantastic' opportunities in sterling even though we've been largely trading in ranges for some time. That's according to the renowned technical analyst, Nicole Elliott who sees particular value in EURGBP.
On Wednesday, Britian's finance minister, the Channcellor George Osborne, outlined spending priorities for the UK for the year ahead. Sterling rose slightly in afternoon trade. Nicole believes EURGBP will have further downside in the coming weeks. She also looks at the bond market and notes that there are few signs there of any impending interest rate rise in the UK.
