Neighbour: Selling Dax ahead of ECB disappointment

As markets await further easing from the European Central Bank, Joe Neighbour says he's trading based on gut instinct rather than relying solely on charts and technical analysis, "I think what could take place today is a classic buy the rumour sell the fact scenario" he says.

So taking a neutral position, Joe is selling the Dax and buying the FTSE 100; anticipating disappointment from the ECB announcement.

To get a price Joe is dividing the Dax by the FTSE. e.g. DAX Price (11190)/ FTSE Price (6420) = 1.7429
