Koefoed: Why the US Fed should, but won’t hike rates in March

The upcoming US jobs report may very well add to existing US data, which suggests that the US Federal Reserve has enough reasons to hike interest rates when it meets on March 15-16, says Saxo Bank’s Mads Koefoed. But it probably won’t.

Previewing tomorrow's nonfarm payrolls, Koefoed looks at what to expect from the report as well as the state of the US economy. Koefoed also talks about his expectations for when and how many times the US Fed could hike rates in 2016, which so far has been marked by market turmoil and concerns about a slowdown in global growth.
