Why precious metals are gaining: Hansen
Ole Hansen, head of commodity strategy at Saxo Bank, outlines his reasons for why silver and gold are rallying.
He says the prices are being driven up by a combination of the European Central Bank buying corporate bonds, a record low for Germany’s 10-year yield and fears over a Brexit vote which means the UK would quit the EU.
Hansen also adds a cautious word over EURUSD that may weaken these precious metals in the near term.
