Gold outshines silver — #SaxoStrats
Stock markets are wobbling and political risk remains both with Trump in US and European elections. Saxo Bank’s head of commodity strategy Ole Hansen says gold is outperforming silver which indicates safe haven demand.
He notes that copper and industrial metals are under pressure with concern that Trump will fail to fulfil US infrastructure plans because of opposition in the US Congress.
The market is very much focusing on USD, bonds and voting in Congress, Hansen adds.
