Saxo CEO: The doomed Euro is good for trading

Lars Seir Christensen, Co CEO of Saxo Bank, has warned that he is "very worried for Europe" and that the euro is a "failed project". But despite these strong statements, Lars explains that in business, you have to play with the cards you are dealt, and so the euro is "not a bad thing" from a trading point of view.

In fact, he says that from a business perspective it's "quite a good currency". But he explains that in the long run, the eurozone is not a sustainable project.

Key to the future of the single currency - the German elections; Lars says if Angela Merkel wins, she is going to have to face up to some "very difficult truths".

Lars also warns that despite occasional positive news stories, it's clear that  in its current form, the eurozone is "extremely detrimental to its members". And this, he says, will eventually have to change.
