Why Yahoo! needs more than a new logo

After 18 years, Yahoo! has changed its logo. The company says the new brand reflects its "whimsical yet sophisticated" values.
It's still purple but has a new type face.
In the 30 days leading up to its launch, Yahoo! rotated out the logo on its homepage with other options, turning a simple rebranding into a marketing push or as James Gregory from CoreBrand puts it "making news where there isn't any".
But Saxo Bank's Peter Garnry tells saxo bank's sara walker, logo aside, Yahoo!'s profits don't justify its valuation.
