Berger: Why banks are looking strong in 2014

Serge Berger, also known as the Steady Trader, provides his market outlook for 2014. Reading the current market as being in a 10-15 year secular bull market, his perspective differs from many other analysts.

Although a correction could well be on the cards, he sees stock prices generally rising in 2014. Interest rates too will increase.  Berger expects that banks will provide an opportunity for heavy investing. Being interest rate dependent, the banks performance will be interesting to watch this year, he says.
