The 'significant' corrections coming in 2014
Trading Floor’s contributors have taken a moment to outline their predictions for the market in the coming New Year.
Clive Lambert form FuturesTechs expects to see some major corrections in the equities market next year. With the Federal Reserve set to initiate tapering he anticipates that other central banks will also begin pulling back financing. Lambert expects the correction to bring down major indices to more normal levels: S&P 14,000, Dow 13,500 and the FTSE 5,500.
Another potential collapse Lambert foresees is the end of the bitcoin bubble. Deemed “the bubble of all bubbles” it’s time at the top will have been short lived. Overall, it appears that the ever escalating markets of 2013 will be coming to an end in 2014 for Lambert.
