Beecroft: The deflation reality in Europe

The OECD says there's a deflation risk in Europe, the IMF raised concerns too in its latest World Economic Report, but the European Central Bank does't appear to be too worried. Saxo's Nick Beecroft thinks this is wrong as deflation in Europe is near the "danger zone". He believes the ECB will eventually act, but it will be "too little too late".

The IMF says its models showed a 20 percent chance that prices could start to fall in the euro currency bloc. Inflation in the eurozone was just 0.8 percent year-on-year in December, well below the ECB's target of close to but below 2 percent.
