Nokia fights back with android device at Mobile World Congress

The Mobile World Congress is in full swing in Barcelona and tech expert Stuart Miles, founder of pocket-lint.com, says that overall “there seems to be a real shift towards launching flagship products”.

He says that big announcements have come from Sony and Samsung, but the main highlight so far, according to Stuart, has come from Nokia, which is about to be acquired by Microsoft Corp in a USD 7.2 billion deal.

Nokia is turning to software created by rival Google for a new line of phones. The first models are called Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL.

Stuart also adds that one company to watch is Chinese firm Huawei. The tech giant has just unveiled its first wearable technology device, called the TalkBand B1.
