This wide moat stock has the right prescription
The US healthcare stock, Express Scripts, appears to be an attractive investment opportunity, according to Morningstar research. It's one of their top "wide moat" equities and the company's Vishnu Lekraj says it's got a lot going for it in terms of scale and valuation.
Firstly, it has a "sticky" client base; it's hard for people to switch benefit plans. It also has a strong foothold within the pharmaceutical market. Thirdly, it's got major scale advantages. Vishnu says if you're going to be a player in the US pharmaceutical industry, one way or another you have to deal with Express Scripts.
