Plug Power sparks surge in interest  

A survivor of the 90s dot com boom, a recharged Plug Power is turning on the market again with its fuel cell technology. Stocks in the firm have been the most traded this week on the NASDAQ, at one point news of a large order caused a surge in interest.

The company has high profile customers including BMW and Walmart in an industry worth an estaimated $20 Billion. Revenue in 2013 is reported as $26.6 Million.  

The CEO Andy Marsh predicts that in 2014, the company will generate $70M in revenue, at a 25% gross-profit margin. Saxo Bank's Head of Equity Strategy Peter Garnry says investors should bear in mind the small scale of the firm with just over a hundred employees. Share value remains below the 2000 price depsite a recent steep rise in the stock.

The company's management says the firm is "set to explode" and now has "a clear cut road map".
