The 'Uber' mistake and why it's not fun and games for Nintendo

If you hadn't heard of the taxi app Uber before this week, chances are you have now. London cabbies attempted a mini-blockade of the capital to protest against the new technology. Unfortunately for them, this served as a massive PR boost for the company which said it saw an 850 percent increase in new users in one day.

Stuart Miles, from Pocket-lint.com, looks at how hew technology is disrupting old ways of working. He's also looking into what's been going on at E3 in the States, the Electronic Entertainment Expo. He notes that the likes of Microsoft and Sony are concentrating much more heavily on promoting games and gaming than last year. Stuart also has some worrying words for old-timer, Nintendo.
Stuart also looks ahead to the first ever London Tech Week. He says there have to be some serious changes in attitude before London could ever be a serious challenger to Silicon Valley.
