Weekly Commodity Video: Half-year review - cotton, corn, silver and energy lead
Nearing the end of June Ole Hansen reviews the performance of commodities in the year to date. Cotton, corn, silver and energy lead the way while wheat was the lagger in the period. Otherwise the Reuters Jefferies CRB index is almost flat in the first half of the year. Looking ahead, the markets will continue to be affected by the uncertainty surrounding European sovereign debt issues and the outlook for slower economic growth.
