The S and P is up some 26% since November. If you're one of those bears, roaring about over-valued equity markets then, in Peter Garnry's words, you could "get killed"! Saxo Bank's Head of Equity Strategy says that history tells us that after a long rally, the momentum effect kicks in and it's more likely that stocks will continue to rise.
Of course, there are always events that could send stock markets down sharply. But Peter reckons it's looking good for equities over the next few weeks. For a dramatic sell off, we'd need to see a dramatic change in volatility and rising rates in the bond markets. He argues there's little sign of that at the moment.
