Acclaimed risk analyst Gerald Ashley begins a new series called 'Traders Clinic' by looking at the top three trading traps; which he describes as: staying stuck in a comfort zone, only hearing what you want to hear and never knowing when to let go.

Gerald offers advice and ideas, based on thirty years working in finance and business, to solve these common trading problems, such as always having a stop loss from the start of a trade and widening a portfolio in order to spread risk.

Gerald's new book 'Serious Money - The 11 rules of trading' is due to be published this autumn.
