Ole Hansen, head of commodity strategy at Saxo Bank, says that gold has settled into a range following its initial rally after June’s Brexit vote, but the US dollar is now helping it prosper.

He believes gold needed a deeper correction to retrace and find strength again to move higher. 

Dovish action from the US Federal Reserve has meant during the past month, the dollar has fallen more than gold has risen.
